Voopoo Drag 3 turns off, not connecting to PC, software update

 

My Voopoo Drag 3 Sandy Brown sometimes turns off after vaping.

Some people recommend to update the software and indeed it looks like a software glitch when you look at it, cause it stops counting puffs, etc. However this approach reveals two other problems and... it doesn't fix the main issue, because it's not generated by faulty software but by a short circuit.

So there are the fixes for the issues:

1. Software update - don't google, go to the producer's website in Support section: https://www.voopoo.com/software.html#service

2. PC not recognizing the device: make sure you use a cable that can transfer data, the easiest way to do it is to use the cable that came in the box. Then, if it doesn't show up, just rotate the USB-C plug - unplug from device, turn it around, plug it back it.

3. Drag 3 turning off. Unscrew the drip and properly clean the connectors to remove the liquid that causes the short-circuit.
